Ashley is going to preschool twice a week now and loves it. At first she was quiet and shy which surprised us all because she talks a good amount at home. She has a growing list of expressions that keep us laughing. Currently she finds about ten things a day which to exclaim, "What in the world?" as she furrows her brow and looks to us for an explanation. Overall she is a great listener and loves to help around the house, especially in the kitchen.
Nicole loves her time with her sister but also has enjoyed the times when Ashley is off at school and she gets undivided attention. She is quite good at communicating her needs with her very few words, but mostly just grunting, pointing and devising ways of climbing up to whatever it is she is going for. We are hoping some of Ashley's listening skills will rub off on her soon, but to date, Nicole's favorite activity is practicing different ways of charming her way out of the trouble she gets into. She is a wonderful self entertainer and is a very content child, when she gets her way.Brandon is still working for Picis and really enjoying his work on software applications for hospitals. As for Missy, this has been a year of changes. Along with taking care of the girls, she has become an independent consultant with Arbonne, which is a botanical based skin care company that also specializes in nutrition, weight loss and aromatherapy. (www.brown.myarbonne.com.) The biggest news from the home front is that we are expecting our third baby in April! Ashley is especially excited, and she likes to tell everyone that her mommy is having a new baby, and proceeds to try to show them Missy's growing belly.

It has been great to hear from so many of you and we hope that you had a great Christmas! Wishing you all a wonderful new year and that we can all grow closer to God through His Son Jesus Christ!
Love,
The growing Brown Family
May the Lord make you increase and abound in love for one another and for all, as we do for you.
