Fevers & Funnies

Well it has been a bit longer than I planned between posts but perhaps that is because life around here is really busy but at the same time not quite publishable material- but I suppose I just need to get in a more bloggish mentality of "everything is bloggable" even if it isn't publishable.

Nicole was kind enough to have brought home a nasty head cold and fever that she was happy to share with Ashley. Nicole's fever has been gone a few days though Ashley's has stuck around. Melissa picked it up just yesterday. All of them have been big troopers about being sick. Ashley tells us multiple times a day, "I'm done being sick. I want to be healthy." Which is exactly what I say when I'm feeling under the weather, which so far I've avoided this time around.

We are just hoping for a turn around by this weekend. Sunday morning we have a dedication service for Nicole. We are inviting some friends but mostly just local family to join us as we commit to raising Nicole under the instruction and methods of the Bible and through the power and wisdom of Jesus Christ. This has been our approach for some time now (her whole life) but this service will give us a chance to make a public statement and let other close to our family also pledge support and prayer for Nicole, our little rascal. Feel free to come should this blog magically get some readership in the next 3 days- 9am in Rolling Meadows.
